Within Alleima and Division Tube, there is Primary Products, which is the production unit that supplies our product areas with raw materials for further processing. In our operations, we have the raw material yard, steel mill, hot working, finishing, and a unit for manufacturing drill rods for rock drilling machines.

Your Role

In the role of Manager for Furnace Technology, you will have a varied position where your focus is on leading and developing a team of 12 employees, with safety and well-being as our top priority. Through great engagement, you contribute together with the team to a work environment where people thrive and perform. With a strongly anchored leadership, you work on developing and improving processes and working methods.

The department has a strong focus on maintenance, development, and efficiency of the operations’ facilities, which also contributes to achieving our ambitious climate goals. We also strive to continuously develop through increased productivity, availability, and quality, where you will play an important role.

Common tasks include:

• Maintenance and development of furnaces at Alleima
• Being responsible within the operational area: development, service & maintenance work within furnace technology (gas, electric furnaces)
• Leading both internal and hired personnel under your own management within the operational area.
• Resource allocation to projects for Alleima within the area of responsibility.
• Participating in the “CO2 road map”

In this role, you will also have a place in Primary’s management team, which means you have a significant opportunity to influence our journey forward.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant educational background, preferably with a technical focus, who enjoys the role of a leader. We value previous experience in similar positions, preferably within a relevant field, but this is not a requirement. In your leadership, you lead by example and motivate those around you.

We place great importance on your personal qualities, characterized by your curiosity and interest in technology. You see yourself as a team player with good communication skills and drive your work together with the group, providing them with the best conditions to achieve both individual and organizational goals.
